Sexual and reproductive health is important to us all, at all stages of our lives. Yet far too many people are denied their right to sexual and reproductive health.
The vast majority are girls and young women from vulnerable households. As a result, girls and young women tend to make uninformed decisions, making them face unexpected pregnancies and miss out on opportunities and rights reserved for them. This is because of the lack of information owing to the negative cultural stereotypes that make conversations about sexual and reproductive services and topics taboo to adolescents.
We provide comprehensive sexuality education and sexual and reproductive health care to help girls avoid pregnancy. We also work with other partners to ensure access to safe and voluntary family planning, by raising community awareness on the use of contraceptives and providing them to our beneficiaries
We also use talk shows, awareness media campaigns, safe spaces, magazines, seminars, conferences, and debates to increase conversations about sexual and reproductive health and rights among girls and young women.
